Kamal Bouhassoune received a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Statistics in 2006 from the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Lille, France, and Master of Science in Business Development in 2013 from EDHEC Business School, France.

 

In 2024, he was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree by Hassan First University, Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Settat, Morocco, where he conducted his doctoral research "Study and Model Value-Driven Blockchain Smart contracts for Cooperative Enterprise Information Systems".

 

Active in the software industry since 2006, he currently serves as a Teaching and Research Fellow at the Cnam (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers) in Paris, and as a reviewer for the International Journal of Blockchains and Cryptocurrencies (IJBC).

 

His research interests encompass distributed systems, security and privacy, game theory, and applied statistics.
