Kamal Bouhassoune holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Statistics from the Polytechnic School of Engineering in Lille (2006), and a Master of Science in Business Development from EDHEC Business School, Lille (2013), both obtained in France. 
 

In November 2024, he successfully defended his thesis intitled 

"Study and Model Value-Driven Blockchain Smart Contracts for Cooperative Enterprise Information Systems"

 

and earned his doctoral degree from Hassan First University, at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Settat, Morocco, within the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Applications, and the Computer, Networks, Mobility and Modeling Laboratory. 

 

His research interests include game theory, distributed ledger technologies, machine intelligence, and cooperative enterprise information systems.

Dr. Bouhassoune currently serves on the editorial board and as a reviewer for the International Journal of Blockchains and Cryptocurrencies (IJBC).
